Blogs That Make Me Think… In A Good Way

Guess what? Meme time again.
This one’s great though. It allows me to highlight a few of the blogs that make me think. This is good because:
a) I like to think, and
b) It’s rare to find things that make you think in a good way (as in stimulating, rather than “If it weren’t for my horse [1]…”).
I’m doubly honored, because I was tagged by both Drew McLellan [2] and Brad Shorr [3], as a blog that makes them think.
Who’da thought?
I actually had about 10 or more picked out, but a bunch had already been tagged. The good news is that these five weren’t (as far as I could tell):
Simplenomics [4] – Mike Sigers always has some interesting views of the world of sales and marketing that strikes a cord. Not only does he know his stuff, he tells it like it is. Which is what any good thinker does.
eLearning Technology [5] – Tony Karrer really understands the changing elearning industry, and is not afraid to slaughter some sacred cows (you noticing a pattern in my picks here?). As someone who’s done a good bit of elearning development for various projects, I like how Tony views things, rather than taking the same old tired approach.
Hardcore Zen [6] – A blog by Brad Warner who wrote one of my favorite books Hardcore Zen [7]. For those who think they know what Zen is, it’s nice that someone has the inclination to tell them the truth.
Inside Fatherhood [8] – First and foremost, I’m a dad — then comes the entrepreneurship, drawing silly stuff, and writing. Nothing can get you thinking like the questions of your child, and Steve Remington captures that fatherhood life so very well.
The Marketing Technology Blog [9] – Doug Karr always has something interesting to say. Whether it’s tech related, dad related, or just a bunch of really interesting links, I consistently get some tidbit of quality info from Doug’s site.
So now we have some rules for participation from the meme-starter [10]:
Thanks to Drew and Brad for tagging me, and thanks to the bloggers I tagged for keeping the thinking gears turning.
